Allyum advises TSUME’s Shareholders and Founder on a “serie A” Fundraising

Allyum, the Belgian corporate finance advisor dedicated to midcap companies, acts as exclusive financial advisor to TSUME’s Shareholders and Founder on a “serie A” Fundraising.

Allyum, the Belgian corporate finance advisor dedicated to midcap companies, announces the closing of an equity funding round for Tsume S.A. The market leader in collectible figurines products has decided to solicit external capital funding from private investors to enter a new phase of its development.

Since its foundation by Cyril Marchiol in 2010, Tsume managed to rise on the collector statue market. The company designs and commercializes high quality collectible figurines from Manga, anime, movie, video game and entertainment related universes. The Luxembourg based company also produces independent and licensed board games, its own fashion brand and has recently released several own Manga series. Along the years, Tsume has gained the trust of some main corporations in the anime and movie world such as Shueisha, Toei Animation, TV Tokyo, Square Enix or 21th Century Fox. With more than 20 licence agreements, the management continues to extend its portfolio by signing up major licensors in Asia and the US.

In order to accelerate its growth and achieve strategic projects on the short and medium term, Tsume was looking for investors with an affinity towards its creative industry. Consequently, Tsume mandated Allyum as a financial advisor throughout the whole process of the equity funding. Cyril Marchiol, the CEO and founder of Tsume, said: “I truly appreciated the involvement of Allyum through the whole process. Their proven experience, technical and tactical skills and perseverance helped us to manage this complex process until its closing, so that we could focus on the development of TSUME”.
